Showcase Central

The Purpose Ministry at Central Baptist Church-Buna wants to showcase the talent of our friends with special and unique needs! We are looking for singers, dancers, joke tellers, jugglers, piano/guitar players, strongmen/women, magicians, and other performances that you would see at a talent show. We are also hosting a unique art exhibit to let our special needs peeps display their works of art. This can be drawings, photographs, paintings, model cars, sculptures, mosaics, quilts, jewelry, or anything else created.

Showcase Central will be Saturday February 3rd, 2024. The Art Show will begin at 4:30pm and the Talent Show will start at 6pm. The Talent Show is limited to 20 acts, but the Art Exhibit is currently unlimited.

Showcase Central Rules

A few rules to make the evening fun for everyone:

  1. Acts for the talent show are limited to 5 minutes.

  2. The talent show and art exhibit is open to all age groups, so all the acts and works of art must fall into G-PG rating. No profanity. No references to drugs, violence, or sex will be displayed.

  3. Music must be submitted so that our sound team can have everything ready for the big night.

There is no cost to register and no cost to attend Showcase Central. So bring your family and fans to come cheer for you. Hope to see you at Showcase Central!

Showcase Central is a wonderful opportunity for our church and community to show a very special population of people, who are often overlooked, love and support.
